Achievements

"Nothing can subtract hardwork from success, only add to it"
In the month of January 2013, RRIS conducted Central Institute Of General Knowledge Learning (CIGKL) Examination for three main subjects G.K, Math and Science.
We introduced CIGKL Examination with the vision to enhance the knowledge base of subjects by developing students' analytical ability in order to succeed in competitive Examination.
A total of 182 students from Grade1 to 7 participated in it. We are proud to announce Master. Yash Maheshwari from Grade 1 (Session 2012-13) batch scored 92% in G.K and 90% in science and brought laurels to the school.
We at RRIS strive to conduct such kind of competitive Exams to give the students an exposure to competitive world.

Rewarding Performance
A pat on the back, wishes for success and a reward. These are the few consequences of the endeavors of Mrs. Pooja Vaidya, the swimming coach at the Ram Ratna International School. Mrs. Vaidya was recently honoured by the Pragat Samajik Sanstha on the occasion of 182 Birth Anniversary of Smt. Savitribai Phule. The award recognized Mrs. Vaidya's achievements and contribution in the field of Sports, specifically swimming. Swimming is a part of life-skills and plays an important role when integrated with education. Apart from serving as a refreshing sport, it also teaches one to face his/her fear. Mrs. Pooja Vaidya, a National level Swimmer, has won many competitions held across the nation.
The Principal, Mrs. Jaya Parekh, added to this honour by felicitating our swimming coach in the assembly. Mrs. Parekh said that the school is proud to have such talents amongst us and wished her the best for her future endeavors.

Report on Skating Competition
"A Dream is not something achieved with closed eyes but something that will never let you sleep until achieved." The students of Ram Ratna International School had a day full of glory and excitement as they were overjoyed with the success in roller skating competition held by Thane District Open Roller Skating Championship organized by Navi Mumbai and Thane district rural skating association. 38 students from Ram Ratna International School participated in this district level competition displaying their sportinng spirit.
The event was inaugurated by the gracious hands of Mr. Ganesh Rao, Vice President of Skating Federation of Maharastra. The experts in the field, Mr. Santosh Bang and Mr. Nihal Prashad judged the events with their pellucid eyes, picking up the real jewels who dazzled the arena with their heart-racing performances.
The main motto behind organizing such competition was to spread the art of skating in the school and to tap the real, unexplored talents in the kids. About 350 to 400 participants from various schools from Thane showcased their talent in roller skating. Students of Ram Ratna International School won medals in different age categories as a receipt of their hardships.
According to the overall medal tally our very school was awarded the 1st runner up Championship trophy. Our Sports teacher Mr. Swapnil and Mr. Dayanand Shetty received the trophy on behalf of the students for their splendid victory.
14 participants won Gold medal, while 11 won Silver and 10 won bronze adding feather to our school's cap. We all are very proud of these deserving students for excelling in the events and brightening school's name. This wouldn't have been possible without Mr. Dayanand Shetty's, our skating coach. We also extend our gratitude to Mrs. Jaya Parekh, our Principal for her moral support and encouragement for providing exposure to participate in such events.
